My name is Rose Santiago. I have been blind since birth, and there was a season of my life when the darkness I felt inside was deeper than anything my eyes had ever known. I had lost my community, my certainty, and my connection to my own source all at once. I didn't know what ritual was. I had never meditated. I had no tools, no practices, no language yet for what I was searching for.

What I had was the refusal to stop looking.
